Modern Day Slavery Statement
Statement by the Directors of PC Xpress
At PC Xpress, we are committed to conducting our business ethically and with integrity. We actively work to ensure that there is no modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking within any part of our business or supply chain.
As a UK-based company operating in the computer retail, repair, and e-commerce sector, we work with a range of suppliers both within the United Kingdom and internationally. We recognise our responsibility to promote ethical practices and to ensure that our supply partners share our commitment to lawful and responsible business conduct.
Policies
To support our commitment to preventing modern slavery, PC Xpress has implemented internal policies that promote ethical trading, transparency, and accountability. These policies guide our operational procedures and business relationships.
We expect all suppliers and partners to uphold the same high standards. Any supplier working with PC Xpress must comply with applicable laws relating to labour rights, human rights, and anti-slavery regulations.
Due Diligence
As part of our ongoing efforts to minimise risk, we carry out reasonable due diligence processes designed to:
Identify and assess potential risk areas within our supply chain
Monitor higher-risk areas where appropriate
Reduce the risk of slavery or human trafficking within our operations
Encourage reporting of concerns through appropriate internal channels
We are committed to ensuring that any concerns raised are treated seriously and handled responsibly.
Risk and Compliance
While we do not operate in industries typically considered high-risk for modern slavery, we understand that risks can exist in any supply chain. We therefore continue to review and assess our suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with ethical standards.
Modern slavery and human trafficking will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If any concerns are identified, PC Xpress will take appropriate action, including reviewing and, where necessary, terminating supplier relationships.
Further Actions and Statement
This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects PC Xpress’s commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.
